Building Resilience

Resilient leadership for you and your team

2019 Dates now available!

Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 May 2019 - AIM Canberra

As organisations increasingly embrace the digital age, the nature of work is rapidly changing. Organisations are already experiencing a rise in the use of digital technology and the radical change it is bringing to many workplaces. However, research suggests that the way we lead is not keeping pace with the demands of our ever-evolving environment.

To equip you and your team with the ability to thrive in this new VUCA environment, the Centre for Public Management (CPM) is excited to be hosting a new 2-day "Building Resilience for You and your Team" program

Building emotional intelligence and improving thinking skills are the foundational capabilities of new leadership approaches that are desperately needed for our current and future contexts. Successful leaders need to recognise that the need for judgement and emotional intelligence will increase across a range of critical areas. They will prioritise instilling confidence, utilising a variety of communication styles and leading with integrity to ensure they are having a positive impact on the people they lead.

Drawing on insights from neuroscience and other research, this 2 day workshop session provides the latest thinking about how current and future leaders can build their emotional intelligence to create highly engaged, creative and resilient teams and provides an opportunity for reflection and skills practice.

Topics discussed will include:
