‘Building New Leadership: performing at the executive level’ is a three-day program run at the Australian Institute of Management, Canberra Campus, ACT. The course is designed for Executive Level 1 officers who have recently reached this level, having been acting in or permanent at this level for less than 2 years.

The objective of the program is to build capability and performance for officers who are new to the executive level. This program will be of significant benefit to those who represent the next generation of managers in the APS, including those who have entered through graduate programs or been appointed directly into executive level management roles. The course is presented and led by Christian Pitsopoulos and Renee Mack, who are CPM consultants with an understanding of the challenges facing new executives in the contemporary APS.

Executive Coaching 

One of the challenges of attending a three-day program is to not lose sight of the various insights, ideas, plans and issues that arise during the course.  Some of them are far too important not to follow up.

‘Building New Leadership’ offers a one hour coaching session to take place in the months following the program. The coaching session provides  one-on-one time for specific issues to be discussed. The coaching session is provided by our experienced Executive Coach at our office in Canberra.

Cost and Booking

Your organisation will be invoiced for the GST inclusive fee of $2,800.

This includes catering, the venue, course materials and a program dinner. Cancellations or deferrals after the closing date will attract a cancellation fee of $700, alternatively substitutes can be accepted up until 14 days before the course begins.
