Dianne van Meegen


Over the past 25 years Dianne has consulted to and partnered with a wide range of public and private sector agencies, NGOs, NFPs  and national associations in Australia and globally.  Her areas of capability encompass facilitating and coaching in the areas of organisational development and repositioning; cultural and structural change; leadership and management development; as well as executive team and board capability building.

Dianne has a detailed knowledge of the scope, work and operations of government and the APS. Her early career within the APS included industrial relations, APS wide recruitment and personnel policy development and implementation, and organisational design and review.

Dianne is a highly skilled facilitator, designer and facilitator of training and development interventions for senior executive leadership and management capability building. She also has extensive experience as a mentor and coach.  Dianne has a very keen interest in the full gamut of communication techniques which support effective engagement, quality and tough conversations and decision making.

Qualifications, Accreditations and Certifications

Dianne has tertiary qualifications in Administration and Politics and is accredited to administer the full suite of the CPM 360° feedback instruments, the Team Management Profile, the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and the Barrett values tool.  She has extensive coaching experience with CEO’s and senior executive level staff and has trained extensively in coaching techniques, including in Ontological coaching and with the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership.

Dianne is an active member of the Institute of Public Administration of Australia and a former Council Member. She has an excellent network across the SES of the APS to Secretary level, and provides evidence-based leading edge techniques in her work.
